About Me

My photo
Amy Leff
Atlanta, GA, United States
I'm a working mom, so when it comes to designing jewelry, I need it to be wearable. I need to be able to grab and go when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. Most of the time, I'm running out the door with my hair still wet. There is still that part of me that craves being current and fashionable. Just because I'm a mom, doesn't mean I can't be cute, right! Throwing Stars Jewelry is meant to be easy to wear, yet sophisticated and makes an artistic statement at the same time. Even if all I can grab is a shirt and jeans, I can throw on a pair of earrings and a necklace, and at least look "put together". In making my jewelry, I also make sure it includes a lot of hammering so it still has that shimmer, while it also has an organic and hand-made feel at the same time. What began as a hobby at my dining room table, Throwing Stars Jewelry has become a mainstay at many Atlanta Boutiques, and now boutiques in Athens, St. Louis, and Mt. Kisco, NY.
